Peugeot 407

Well, another good looking car the US customers won't see. The all new 407, which replaces the aging 406.

The sedan is the exact same size as the Acura TSX, the European Honda accord. And the wagon is a bit longer. Engines available include a 2.2 Liter 4 cylinder, and a 3.0 V6. Does it ring a bell??? Well, that pretty much matches what mid size sedans offer in the US. Which means, that car would fit perfectly as a competition for the Passat, TSX, Mazda 6 and other cars offered here.

The problem is, Peugeot doesn't have distribution here. Unlike Renault who is partner with Nissan. Select Nissan dealers could sell Renault cars easily. Just what BMW does with Mini.

But Peugeot is on its own, and that's too bad.

The wagon is one of the most modern production car available. With a glass roof as an option.
